Gin

Gin Gin Mule

  • 2 oz gin
  • 4 oz ginger ale
  • Garnish lemon

Martini

  • 2 oz gin
  • 1 oz dry vermouth
  • 1 dash angostura bitters
  • Olive to garnish
  1. Stir to chill, then garnish

Gimlet

  • 2 oz gin
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup
  • 1 oz lime juice
  1. Shake with ice then strain

Bee’s Knees

  • 2 oz Plymouth gin
  • 0.75 oz honey syrup (2 parts honey, 1 part water)
  • 0.75 oz lemon juice
  1. Shaken on ice and strained, no garnish.

Negroni

  • 30 ml gin
  • 30 ml sweet vermouth
  • 30 ml Campari
  • Orange twist or slice, garnish
  1. Pour all ingredients into ice-filled glass and stir.

Gin Rickey

  • 45 ml gin
  • 15 ml lime juice (fresh)
  • 10 ml 2:1 sugar syrup (optional)
  • club soda (enough to fill)
  • Garnish: 1 lime wedge

Enzoni

  • 5 fresh Green grapes (seedless)
  • 30 ml Dry Gin
  • 30 ml Campari Bitter liqueur
  • 20 ml Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 15 ml Sugar syrup
  1. MUDDLE grapes in base of shake.
  2. Add other ingredients, SHAKE with ice and fine strain into ice-filled glass (preferably over a chunk of block ice).
  3. Garnish: Green grape on stick

Rum

Dark n’ Stormy

  • 50 ml dark rum
  • 90 ml ginger beer
  • 20 ml lime juice, optional
  • Lime wedge, garnish
  1. Fill glass with ice.
  2. Add rum and lime juice.
  3. Top with ginger beer.

Daiquiri

  • 50 ml rum (light)
  • 15 ml lime juice (fresh)
  • 10 ml simple syrup (to taste)
  1. Shake with ice.

Banana Daiquiri

  • 2 oz rum
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup
  • 0.5 oz lime juice
  • 1 sliced banana, or to taste
  • 4-6 oz crushed ice
  1. Crush ice in blender
  2. Pour all ingredients in blender and blend till smooth.

Anejo Highball

  • 1 1/2 ounces rum (añejo)
  • 1/2 ounce orange curacao
  • 1/2 ounce lime juice
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • 2 ounces ginger beer
  • Garnish: 1 lime wheel
  • Garnish: 1 orange slice
  1. Ice in glass, then ingredients. Top with ginger beer

Downhill Racer

  • 50 ml Dark rum
  • 15 ml Disaronno amaretto
  • 45 ml Pineapple juice
  1. Shake all ingredients with ice and fine strain into chilled glass.

Tequila

Margarita

  • 2 lime wedges, for optional rim and garnish
  • Coarse salt, for optional rim (or granulated sugar)
  • 1 1/2 ounces tequila
  • 1 ounce premium triple sec
  • 3/4 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice, from 1 lime
  1. Wet the rim of glass with lime wedge.
  2. Dip or roll in salt.
  3. Shake liquids with ice
  4. Strain into glass

Watermelon Margarita

For the Drink

  • Ice, as needed
  • 6 ounces fresh watermelon juice (from about 1 1/2 cups chopped seedless watermelon, blended and strained)
  • 2 ounces tequila, preferably blanco
  • 2 ounces Cointreau (optional)
  • 2 ounces fresh lime juice (from 1 to 2 large limes), rinds reserved
  • 2 to 3 thinly sliced jalapeño rounds (optional)

For the salted rim

  • 1 tablespoon fine sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon Tajín or 1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne (optional)

To prepare

  1. Prepare the salted rim, if using: In a small shallow bowl or plate, combine the sea salt and Tajín. Set aside.
  2. In a shaker filled with ice, combine the watermelon juice, tequila, Cointreau (if using), lime juice and jalapeño (if using). Shake to combine. (Note: The watermelon flavor shines brighter without the Cointreau, but the liqueur takes the drink into more traditional margarita territory. If you’d like to compare, first try the mixture without, the liqueur, then add 1 ounce of it per serving.)
  3. Using one of the squeezed lime halves, run it along the rim of two rocks glasses, then dip the rims into the salt mixture. Fill the glasses with ice, then strain the margaritas into the glasses and enjoy immediately.

Paloma

  • Optional: lime wedge (for wetting rim of glass)
  • Optional: salt (for rim of glass)
  • 2 ounces tequila (blanco or reposado)
  • 1/4 to 1/2 ounce lime juice (fresh; to taste)
  • 4 ounces grapefruit soda (or: 2 oz grapefruit juice, 2 oz club soda)
  1. (Optional) Wet rim of glass with lime then salt.
  2. Add ice.
  3. Add tequila and lime juice
  4. Top with grapefruit soda

Black Bull

  • 2 oz blanco tequila
  • 1 oz coffee liquer (Kahlua)

Vodka

Mudslide

  • 1 to 1 1/2 ounces vodka
  • 1 ounce coffee liqueur
  • 1 ounce Irish cream liqueur

Espresso Martini

  • 1 1/2 ounces vodka
  • 3/4 ounce coffee liqueur
  • 1/4 ounce crème de cacao
  • 1 ounce chilled espresso
  • Garnish: 3 coffee beans
  1. Shake with ice.

White Russian

  • 1 1/2 ounces vodka
  • 3/4 ounce coffee liqueur
  • 3/4 ounce cream

Black Russian

  • 1 1/2 ounces vodka
  • 3/4 ounce coffee liqueur
  • Optional: maraschino cherries

Moscow Mule

  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice, from 1/2 to 1 lime
  • 4 ounces ginger beer
  • Lime wedge, garnish

Whiskey

Old Fashioned

  • 2 oz bourbon (or rye whiskey, if preferred)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Orange twist, to garnish
  1. Muddle, stir with ice, and strain over one large cube into a chilled rocks glass.

Old Pal

  • 1 oz rye whiskey
  • 1 oz dry vermouth
  • 1 oz rye Campari
  • Garnish: lemon twist
  1. Stir with ice, then strain into glass

Rob Roy

  • 2 oz Scotch
  • 1 oz sweet vermouth
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters (optional)
  1. Stir with ice.

Manhattan

  • 2 oz Rye whiskey
  • 1 oz Martini sweet vermouth
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
  1. Stir with ice, then strain into glass

Whiskey Sour

  • 2 oz whiskey
  • 0.75 oz lemon juice
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup, or to taste
  • Maraschino cherry to garnish
  1. Shake with ice, strain into glass and garnish with cherry

Mint Julep

  • 10 sprigs mint
  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • 3 oz bourbon
  1. In bottom of glass, muddle mint and simple syrup
  2. Add bourbon
  3. Fill glass with ice

Brown Derby

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 1 oz grapefruit juice
  • 0.75 oz honey syrup (1:1 honey:water)
  1. Shake with ice, then strain.

Irish Slammer

  • 0.75 ounce Irish cream liqueur
  • 0.75 ounce Irish whiskey
  • 0.5 pint Guinness
  1. Pour the Irish cream into a shot glass, then top it with Irish whiskey.
  2. In a tall pint glass, pour 1/2 a pint of Guinness and allow the foam to settle.
  3. Drop the shot glass into the Guinness and drink as fast as you can.

Aperol

Aperol Spritz

  • 90 ml Prosecco sparkling wine
  • 60 ml Aperol Aperitivo
  • 30 ml Fever-Tree Premium Soda Water
  1. Pour ingredients in a 3:2:1 ratio into ice-filled glass.
  2. Garnish Orange Slice

Genever

Death In The Gulf Stream

  • 60 ml Oude Genever
  • 30 ml Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 15 ml 2:1 Sugar syrup
  • 4 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
  • 1 grated zest of Lime (fresh)
  1. SHAKE all ingredients with ice and strain into glass filled with crushed ice. CHURN (stir) and add more ice until glass is filled.

Dutch Count Negroni

  • 30 ml Oude Genever
  • 30 ml Campari
  • 30 ml Martini Rosso
  1. POUR ingredients into ice-filled glass and STIR.

Dutch Mule

  • 45 ml Vodka
  • 15 ml Oude Genever
  • 22.5 ml Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 3 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
  • 90 ml Ginger Beer
  1. SHAKE first 4 ingredients with ice and strain into ice-filled glass. TOP with ginger beer.

Genever Fruit Cup

  • 25 ml Oude Genever
  • 25 ml Orange Curaçao liqueur
  • 25 ml Martini Rosso sweet vermouth
  • 2 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
  • 50 ml Ginger Ale
  • 50 ml Cola
  1. POUR all ingredients into glass. Half fill glass with ice.
  2. Add a citrus slice and a couple of mint leaves from garnish before filling to brim with ice.
  3. Finish with rest of garnish.

Genever Old Fashioned

  • 60 ml Oude Genever
  • 5 ml 2:1 Sugar syrup
  • 2 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
  1. STIR all ingredients with ice and strain into ice-filled glass.
